Technical details
Its frame is more curved to offer better gripping points and is foldable at the front to provide more room for movements in narrow spaces; the wheels have increased diameter. The colour of Cross frame and board can be personalized.
In order to make it easier to move the patient on and off the stretcher, the CROSS can be inclined or adjusted into an intermediate level. This ensures that rescue workers do not strain any muscles in transferring the patient from the bed to the stretcher or vice versa.
The frame of the CROSS can be shortened to better operate in limited spaces or small-sized lifts. The front trolley can collapse downward or rotate upwards, acting as protective bumper against unexpected shocks.
The board of CROSS can assume the Trendelenburg or Reverse Trendelenburg positions to help patients affected by poor circulation or other symptoms. Some models can be also locked in the Fowler's position.
A rack and pinion system allows you to reset the loading height of your CROSS (from 52 to 70 cm) when you change vehicle or its configuration.
Side bars twist 180° with a double control button placed outside the patient’s reach. This unlocking mechanism provides added security to patients overtaken by panic attacks, whilst avoiding any fingers jamming injuries.
